We have finally made it to the last section of this wonderful quilt.

There are no new blocks in this section.  We have made them all in previous sections.   I will just post links below the diagram to the tutorials and then write up an assembly post.

2019 Gypsy Wife - Section 10 Assembly

Section 10 Assembly

Remember, I am working on vacation in the cabin where space is limited, so I worked on this section.... well, in sections.!

I cut and laid out the strips for the upper half of this section.

In the middle ... the  SquareNSquare Courthouse Steps and the SquareNSquare Pinwheel get stitched together                                               And on the right... the SquareNSquare Courhouse Steps and Puss in the Corner Bordered get stitched together.

Next, I stitched the strips together with the small SquareNSquare blocks

The strips below the larger SquareNSquare blocks are sewn together and attached.  Then add the two strips to the right side.

Stitch the short strip to the SquareNSquare block.

Stitch together and add the strips below that block, then close up the long seam.

Stitch together the strips below the SquareNSquare and close up the long seam.
Stitch together and add the strips below the top left SquareNSquare and sew the long seam attaching it to the middle.

Now for the strips on the right side of this section below the Puss block

Sew the strips above the SquareNSquare.
Sew the strips above and below the Pinwheel block

Add the long strips on either side.

You can now sew the the long seam and complete Section 10.

Section 10 can now be added below 8 & 9 and beside 7 to complete our Gypsy Wife Journey.

I have chosen not to add borders to my Gypsy Wife.  I will be using it as a wall hanging to decorate my living room... and as it is, it is almost too big for the wall space I have in mind.... I may even have to lop off a few inches from the bottom 😲

For now, I am done until I have time to get it on the quilter.

I have found  this wonderful digitally printed floral for the backing called Mystic Meadow found on Fabric.com at the link below.

Mystic Meadow Digital Print Floral Border SpringMy friend at Becky's Barn in Clarkrange, TN was able to obtain a wide version of it so there will be no piecing the back for me.  If I ever get tired of the Gypsy, I can always turn it around.

My plan is to quilt it edge-2-edge with the Bollywood Pattern from Urban Elements.

I'll post my finish when complete.   For now, it's back to customer work.
