Over the past month or so I have seen several local people posting about the Messy Bun Hat. It's actually a pretty smart idea. It's a basic hat with the top not closed so that girls with long hair can tie their hair up in a bun and the bun would stick out of the top of the hat where there would normally be a pom-pom. The hats I saw were all crochet, but I figured I could design a knitted one... and I did.
I made this one for my youngest daughter and she loved it!
She actually loved it!.... and requested a blue one.
Now I'm working on a few more to sell at Santa's Workshop next year.
