2019 Gypsy Wife Quilt Along - Section 7 Square in a Square with 2 borders

Cutting measurements and directions for this 7in two border square in a square block can be found on page 23 of your pattern.  

Start by making the center square in a square block... draw the diagonal lines... sew on opposite corners 

Now it's time to add the borders

Sew top and bottom borders on first.   Be careful to keep your stitch line above the "X" formed by previous stitching to preserve your points.

 

Repeat with the second border.. top and bottom.. then the two sides.
